You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.
Not even to yourself.
You may feel that you aren’t good enough.
That you need to compensate for some deficiency in yourself in order to find acceptance.
You may feel like you have to earn your place, like you have to earn your right to be here.
Like you’re being watched and judged, graded.
But you do not have to prove anything to anyone.
You are not deficient or incapable—you are a human being, you make mistakes, you learn, you grow.
You are fine just the way you are.
You are irreplaceable and unique.
You are beautiful.
You are just enough.
Let go of the need to prove yourself to others.
Whether they be parents, lovers, friends, people from the past, or people in your life today.
Maybe the person you’ve really been trying to prove something to, is yourself.
Freedom from this burden is simple:
You have to learn to accept yourself for exactly who you are.
To love yourself unconditionally.
There is no harsher critic than your own judgement.
Let go and know that you are exactly enough.
It’s time to free yourself.
It’s time to spread your wings and take flight.
